FAQ

Is Cofferline an exchange or a wallet? Neither. It is the policy and orchestration layer on top of the agent's own smart account, driving existing execution venues (CoW Protocol, ParaSwap; more behind the same interface).

Do you support prediction markets? Yes — that is the flagship vertical: bring your own trade-scoped Polymarket credential (verified live, sealed write-only), set hard risk rules (per-market caps, daily loss stops, resolution-exposure limits) that are enforced server-side against a ledger-derived exposure floor, and journal fills into auditable books. Order transmission is dev-gated today; pre-flight checks, credentials, onboarding, and fill journaling are live.

Do you ever hold funds or keys? Keys: no wallet key for the core treasury product — on-chain authority comes from scoped, revocable session-key delegations enforced by the agent's own ERC-4337 account, and Cofferline never holds your connected account's owner key. Funds: it does not custody your wallet, but two things are held — a prepaid fee balance is real USDC you transfer to the platform treasury for service credit (platform-held), and the platform runs its own treasury/relay wallet (its own funds). Then there are opt-in venue trade credentials: a Polymarket signer is, by the venue's own design, the owner key of your funder wallet — its orders-only use is enforced by our application policy (audited per use, anomaly-alerted), not by cryptography. Credentials are sealed at rest, never returned by any endpoint, zeroed on revocation, and rotatable (GET /v1/pm/credentials/{id}/rotation); keep only working trading balances in the funder and use a dedicated signer. The full breakdown of what is held on every surface is the authority & custody matrix.

What does it cost? Pricing is published machine-readably in the manifest — the same source renders this site's pricing and the 402 payment requirements. Early-stage pricing: rates may change as the platform matures; the manifest is always the current truth. Currently discovery, quotes, pre-flight checks, and reads are free, and metered execution is payable in USDC via x402 or prepaid balance — no cards, no invoices.

Which chains? Base (8453) in production, Base Sepolia (84532) in the dev environment; Polymarket surfaces read Polygon (137). Quotes run against Base mainnet markets, where the venues actually operate.

Where do the numbers come from? Quotes call live venue APIs on every request. Benchmarks publish only measured aggregates from real completed intents with sample sizes attached; an empty bucket reports n: 0.

Where do the humans hang out? The community Discord — questions, integration help, and platform news. Security reports go to security@cofferline.com (see /.well-known/security.txt).
